The Butcher, the Baker, the Candlestick Maker
Al Chater (Pig & Olive), Wendy Whitall (Bread & Butter/Toast & Jam) and Elaine Peterson
(Bee Happy Honey) all make Kingston healthier by collaborating with Loving Spoonful!
Al Chater of Pig & Olive is part of “Meat Up!” a program through which shelters & hot meal
programs serving free or low-cost meals can buy local meat at 50% off the retail price.
Wendy Whitall at Bread & Butter and Toast & Jam
has sponsored Loving Spoonful programs for many years.
Elaine Peterson at Bee Happy Honey sells at the Memorial Centre Farmers Market and participates in the Night Market, a fabulous annual event that celebrates local farmers, chefs & beverage producers. It’s an annual co-production of the Memorial Centre Farmers Market and Loving Spoonful every August. See you there!
We thank them all, from the bottom of our Loving Spoonful hearts. They have contributed to our programs that have connected thousands of people in Kingston & Area with good food.
Find out more about any of these opportunities by contacting Loving Spoonful or learn more here.
Thanks to Al, Wendy & Elaine for posing on an early Sunday morning as our Butcher, Baker & Candlestick Maker. You are priceless!
