Community Harvest Kingston, originally a grassroots community initiative to bring fresh produce to the Rideau Heights neighbourhood, became a program of Loving Spoonful in 2022.
Community Harvest Markets are affordable-access farmers markets, designed to ensure dignified, low-cost access to local food in targeted locations that best serve food insecure community members. All produce sold at the Community Harvest Markets is organically grown and freshly harvested from our Community Harvest Gardens and our Community Training Farm.
All items at the Markets are offered on a sliding scale from $0-5, pay what you can! Everyone is welcome to attend the Community Harvest Markets.
